Old-Fashioned Crock Pot Candy

Easy homemade chocolate peanut clusters made with roasted peanuts, chocolate chips, and almond bark in a slow cooker. Perfect for Christmas gifts and holiday dessert trays.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces salted dry-roasted peanuts
  • 16 ounces unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 24 ounces white almond bark chopped
  • Optional Christmas sprinkles

Method

  1. Lightly grease a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker or use a slow cooker liner.
  2. Add salted and unsalted peanuts to the bottom.
  3. Layer semisweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and chopped white almond bark over the peanuts.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for approximately 1½–2 hours, checking after 1 hour to avoid overheating.
  5. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the peanuts are evenly coated.
  6. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the parchment.
  8. Add Christmas sprinkles if desired.
  9. Let the clusters set at room temperature for 1–2 hours or refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
  10. Store in an airtight container once firm.

Check the slow cooker after the first hour.
White almond bark helps the clusters set firmly.
